Flashing the Amish
“A northern New York man is accused of exposing himself repeatedly to Amish residents… In his statement to sheriff’s deputies, Thomas says he was driving home from work on Jan. 6 when he stopped his car, took off his clothes and exposed himself to an Amish man driving a buggy. Another time, he allegedly exposed himself to two Amish boys in -7 degree weather. He told deputies he did ‘this type of thing about once a week.’ Thomas told deputies his actions were a cry for help. Authorities say Thomas likely targeted the Amish because they don’t have telephones and couldn’t immediately report the incidents.” — WNBC (US)
A cry for help? What kind of help did this guy think he was going to get from the Amish? It’s not like they are known for their prowess in psychotherapy. Unless he needed help baling some hay or raising a pole barn, it’s hard to see what help he was expecting to get. And besides, that’s a might funny way to ask some simple folk for help. Maybe he thought that, since it was such a cold day, he might get one of those nice handmade quilts?
You can imagine people do this kind of thing as a lark now and then. Probably local teenagers have a game, “Shock the Amish,” where a guy will moon a farmer or a girl will flash her tits as they drive by in a buggy. When you’re sixteen, that can seem pretty funny. The sad part is just that it must reconfirm, to the conservative Amish mind, what a bunch of sick, depraved people we non-Amish are.
Then again — this is no lie — PervScan used to know a girl who worked in a massage parlor in a small city near Amish country in Pennsylvania. She claimed that Amish guys would park their buggies out on the street and saunter in for a rub-down with “manual release.” (No, they didn’t pay her with baked goods or cheese.) So maybe it’s comforting for them to know that, outside the rigid system of their religious beliefs, there is a great weird world of sexual opportunity where men can pay for sex or flash each other or practice other abominations. After all, boys will be boys, as they say…
But are the Amish women up to any mischief? That is something that inquiring minds would like to know.

When people like that New york guy do what they do, and everyone calls him a perv, says its a cry for help, everybody judges. The dude has to need some help to do that shit in -7 degrees, cut him sum slack!
Anyhow, I hear everyone complaining, but these things are everyday life, where do these people turn? I don’t hear people saying if you feel this or do this come and see me for help…..no!
These people are crying for help I think. Can you imagine having this hold over you that you cant tell anyone about, if they went and told someone they would get called pervs and be frowned upon…it’s not accepted. I recon most of (not all of them, sum r just sick fucks) know what there doing is probably wrong but the desire to do it is just to great for them to stop by themselves.
Ever tried giving up drinking, smoking, drugs, I’m pretty sure that that’s the type of hold that these people have over them with these lustful activities they persue though it’s not socially acceptable to ever talk about it. Imagine giving up drinking without AA or somethink like that. Every heard of perv anonamous?
