“The Mequon man charged in a bizarre sex case in which he videotaped a Milwaukee woman drinking, then vomiting up a toxic liquid has been charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl in Washington County after he had her drink windshield washer fluid. Sean Kobin, 20, was arrested on sexual assault of a child under 16… Last month, Kobin was charged in Milwaukee with first degree reckless injury after allegedly paying a 33-year-old Grafton woman $20 to drink a caustic liquid as he videotaped her, asking her to describe her pain while she did so. That woman suffered extensive chemical burns to her esophagus and stomach… In the Washington County incident, according to the criminal compliant, the girl and Kobin took a ride into Washington County in February 2004 during which Kobin asked her to drink windshield wiper fluid… The girl, who had been drinking alcohol allegedly provided by Kobin, complied and drank a portion of the bottle of wiper fluid before beginning to vomit. Kobin also asked her to drink gasoline after he stopped at a service station to fill up. She refused that request… Kobin also asked the victim to drink a bottle of Nyquil he had purchased at a local drug store and she consumed it… Kobin allegedly offering her $20 to let him videotape while she vomited. Later… Kobin drove to the site of a former strawberry farm on Highway 60 in the town of Jackson and told the victim he would pay her $100 to perform oral sex. She refused, and he then assaulted her… Kobin allegedly documenting the assault on his cell phone… Kobin allegedly admitted that causing females to drink hazardous and caustic materials is is ’sexually exciting’ to him, particularly ‘with respect to (Kobin’s) talking the victim into consuming the substance and getting a girl from no to yes, which (Kobin) describes as a power trip.’” — GMToday.com (US)

It will be interesting to see if anybody turns up traces of his online movements. Surely this is a young guy who had a blog or a livejournal account. And given the nature of his fetish, it would shocking if he weren’t a member of the fascinating site vomitonline.com. (A quick search of its forums did not reveal any telltale posts pointing back to Mr. Kobin, but it’s certainly possible he posted there under a pseudonym.)

At any rate, to most people it must sound whacked to get your rocks off by inducing women to drink caustic agents, cleaning supplies, bleach, Nyquil, and so forth. But the insanity of it diminishes when you recall, firstly, the number of people who get off to the sight of vomiting and, secondly, the power trip involved with convincing somebody to down a glass of Chlorox. It’s always exciting to get someone to do something that he doesn’t want to do.
